Based on a classic Giovanni Francesco model, the timeless Adagio violin is an all hand-crafted select instrument with a full-bodied tone and an unmatched antique hand finish. This violin features a 25+ year aged lightweight body consisting of solid maple sides, back, scroll and neck. A tight grained aged 20+ year spruce top makes an excellent sound board by following Giovanni's original designs, and is made from only hand select woods for the best possible sound presentation.

The Adagio outfit features all grade A+ African ebony fittings and an antiqued brown satin finish which is meticulously applied for an unparalleled master's look. Strung with Solo Sensitive West German Perlon Strings for the ultimate in sound reproduction traveling thru a 5 star rated hard rock maple bridge. The Adagio is shop checked and quality assured. This wonderful violin also includes an aged Pernambuco bow with ebony frog and Mongolian horse hair and a deluxe padded suspension case for the ultimate in transport and protection, Rosin and a shoulder strap for the case.
